Drinks: Boozy Lemonade
While drinking with friends in itself is great, drinking booze you brewed with friends is somehow even more satisfying. It's cheap, and quite tasty.
Ingredients:
3 lemons, thinly sliced
2 cups sugar
1 gallon of water
1 packet yeast
Directions:
Put the water, sugar, and lemons in a large pot and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Take it off the stove, and let it cool until it is lukewarm. Stir in the yeast, and let it sit, loosely covered (I usually just throw a cheesecloth over the pot) overnight at room temperature. Chill it, and enjoy!
It tastes best when you drink it within two days of making it-- otherwise the alcohol overtakes the sweet lemonade flavour.
